You have seen her stunning ads in all of the bridal magazines:  a girl with eyelashes that go on and on in a brilliant shade of red lipstick wearing an outrageously beautiful birdcage veil.  We are so excited to announce that we have added Sara Gabriel to the Swoon collection! 

Sara Gabriel’s accessories are perfectly Swoon-y.  Everything by Sara Gabriel is custom made and the collection is chic and totally fabulous.  We particularly love this collection because Sara takes such a fresh approach to wedding accessories.  Her pieces are statements.  They are artful, fashionable, feminine and so much fun to wear.

A Shoe-in: Benjamin Adams Shoes Arrive at Swoon

No matter what the outfit, a beautiful pair of shoes (even if you can’t completely see them) is critical to how you feel, how you walk, how you work that fabulous dress.  We know that it’s not the easiest task to find a great shoe that can be dyed.  Frankly, it can be a rather scary task given some of the options out there.  That is why we love the Benjamin Adams line.  The shoes are beautiful—made from duchess silk satin, stylish and the company will dye them for you for a small fee.  We just send Ben a fabric swatch of your dress or paint swatch of the perfect blue and, voila, you will have splendid little shoes in the exact color you desire.    

Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that Benjamin Adams is a British company.  One glance into Michelle’s personal shoe collection and it’s clear that we have a penchant for the Brits and what they can do with a shoe.

Haute Bride Accessory Trunk Show This Weekend

We have said it before and we will say it again:  The right accessories are essential when creating your look for your wedding day. 

And that is why we are dedicating a weekend to the art of accessorizing!

We will be hosting a Haute Bride trunk show Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6.  We will be showing the accessories by appointment (because it takes time to get these details right). 

The Haute Bride collection is delightfully diverse and full of brilliant baubles that are distinctive and custom made.  Bracelets, necklaces, earrings, hair pins, flowers, brooches, tiaras…the trunk show will be like playing dress-up in the most amazing and fabulous jewelry box you can imagine.
